Research
My research interests span across Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, and Engineering Education. My undergraduate research group works on projects involving mathematical optimization of geo-structures, structural dynamics, effects of sustainable aggregates on soil properties, biological effects of sustainable aggregates on plant life, and chemical stabilization of soils. During my time at Christian Brothers University, I have published a total of 25 peer-reviewed papers (2 journal papers and 23 conference papers). I have published 12 peer-reviewed conference proceedings with 14 undergraduate students. I have served as PI or co-PI on 17 grants, securing a total of $1,284,673 in funds.
